Plain-language details on what Organizer.Ai collects, why, who helps us run it, and the controls you have.

Effective October 8, 2026Applies to the Organizer.Ai app (iOS & Android) and organizer.ai

Summary

Organizer.Ai ("Organizer.Ai", "we", "us") is an app that reads the documents you give it, summarises them, ranks how urgent they are, and keeps them searchable. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use the app and website. Organizer.Ai is a product of DevX App Campus LTD, a company based in Lagos, Nigeria, which operates the app and is responsible for your personal information.

The short version: we collect what we need to run your account and analyse your documents. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't use your documents to build advertising profiles. You can export your data, set auto-deletion, or delete your account from inside the app.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account details: your name, email address and, if you add one, a profile photo.
  • Documents: PDFs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OpenDocument, CSV, RTF and text files that you select or send to your private intake address. Documents can contain personal information about you or other people, so please upload only what you are entitled to share.
  • Messages to us: anything you send to support, including attachments and the details you choose to include.
  • Settings you choose: theme, notification preferences, retention period, whether amounts are blurred, cloud-only mode, and (optionally) whether our team may review documents you flag.

Information created by the app

  • Analysis results: title, summary, category, tags, named entities, dates and deadlines, a priority score, and a confidence level.
  • Plan and usage data: your plan, analysis credits, storage used, renewal dates and purchase receipts or tokens needed to verify a purchase.
  • Device and app data: a push-notification token, your time zone, operating system, and app version.
  • Diagnostics: basic error information needed to keep the service working.

Information from others

Apple, Google and Paystack tell us whether a purchase or subscription succeeded and when it renews. We do not receive your card number.

Device permissions

  • Files and storage (Android): if you use Scan my device, the app asks for storage access so it can look for document files on your phone. On Android 11 and later this is the system "All files access" setting. Scanning happens on your device. Nothing is uploaded until you select files, and you can upload at most 20 in a batch. The scan skips hidden folders, app data and cache folders. You can decline and use the file picker instead.
  • Files (iOS): iOS does not allow device-wide scanning, so the app opens the Files picker and only reads what you choose.
  • Notifications: used for deadline reminders and a daily digest. You can turn them off in the app or in your system settings.
  • Photo library (iOS): used only to save a document you download.
  • Network: required to upload, analyse and sync.

The app does not request access to your location, contacts, camera or microphone.

How we use information

  • Provide the core service: store your documents, analyse them, rank urgency, power search and show analytics.
  • Send reminders for overdue or upcoming deadlines (with quiet hours and your opt-outs respected).
  • Process purchases, enforce plan allowances and prevent abuse or fraud.
  • Respond to support requests and data-rights requests.
  • Keep the service secure, fix bugs and improve reliability.
  • Meet legal obligations.

Our legal bases, where the law asks for one, are: performing our contract with you, your consent (for example, notifications and optional human review), our legitimate interests in running a secure service, and legal obligations.

AI processing

To analyse a document, the app extracts its text (on your device for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OpenDocument, CSV, RTF and text files) and sends that text, or the PDF itself, to Anthropic's AI API. Anthropic returns the summary, tags, entities, dates and priority score, which we save to your account. Older binary formats (.doc, .xls, .ppt) cannot be read on-device and may be analysed by file name only, with low confidence.

We use Anthropic's API under commercial terms that, as of the effective date, do not permit Anthropic to train its models on our API inputs by default. Our team does not read your documents unless you opt in by flagging a document for review, or unless you send it to us for support. That option is off by default.

AI output can be wrong. Treat summaries, deadlines and scores as an aid and check the original document before acting on anything important.

Service providers

We use these companies to run Organizer.Ai. They act on our instructions and may process data only as needed to provide their service.

ProviderWhat they do for us
Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, Storage)Sign-in, database, server logic (including scheduled reminders), push notifications
CloudinaryStores and delivers your uploaded files
AnthropicAI analysis of document content
Apple App Store and Google PlayIn-app purchases and subscriptions; they handle your payment details
PaystackCard and bank payments for Team plans billed outside the app stores
Inbound email provider and WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta)Receive documents you forward to your private email address or send by WhatsApp

Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share it only:

  • with the service providers above;
  • with other members of your organisation if you join a Team workspace (administrators can see usage and seat information; document access follows the roles your organisation sets);
  • when required by law, court order or to protect rights, safety and security;
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to you where required;
  • with your consent.

Retention

By default we keep your documents and analysis until you delete them or your account. In Settings → Trust & privacy you can choose to automatically delete documents after 30 days, 90 days or one year; deletion removes the file and its analysis. With cloud-only mode the app deletes the local copy on your phone after upload.

When you delete your account we remove your account, documents and analysis. Copies in backups and logs are overwritten on a rolling basis, and we may keep limited records (for example, purchase records and data-request logs) where the law requires or to resolve disputes.

Your controls

  • Blur amounts: hide money values until you tap them.
  • Retention: choose automatic deletion periods.
  • Notifications: switch reminders and the daily digest on or off.
  • Optional review: allow or stop our team reviewing documents you flag (off by default).
  • Export: request a copy of your data; we email you a download link.
  • Delete: remove individual documents or your whole account.

Delete your account

You can delete your account and data at any time:

  1. Open Organizer.Ai and go to Settings → Trust & privacy.
  2. Tap Delete account and confirm.
  3. Your account, documents and analysis are permanently removed. This cannot be undone, and you'll be signed out when it completes.

If you can't open the app, email devxaccess@gmail.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account" and we'll process it. Active store subscriptions must be cancelled in the App Store or Google Play separately; deleting your account does not cancel them.

Your legal rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal data, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time.

  • Nigeria: under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you have these rights and may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
  • EU / UK: you have rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR and may complain to your local supervisory authority.
  • California and other US states: you may request to know, delete or correct your information. We don't sell or share personal information for advertising, and we won't discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

To exercise a right, use the in-app controls or email devxaccess@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity and will respond within the time the law requires.

Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit, per-user access rules in our database, restricted server-side privileges for plan and payment fields, and limited staff access. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and keep your device updated. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

International transfers

Our providers operate data centres in several countries, so your information may be processed outside Nigeria, including in the United States and Europe. Where required, we rely on safeguards such as contractual protections and our providers' data-transfer commitments.

Children

Organizer.Ai is a productivity tool for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app or the law changes. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email before they take effect.
